The image quality of DV AVI files is slightly fuzzy. I should first mention that Windows Media Player and ATI Player are equally fuzzy, so this is not necessarily a fault of BS Player. HOWEVER, Media Player Classic has significantly better image quality with the same file. Any idea why this would be? Can BS Player be made (through settings) to show the same level of image quality as Media Player Classic?

What is selected under rightclick > Options > Preferences > Video > Video rendering? Any improvement if you use VMR-9? (Read item 2 of my Help2Help-post) (also please check under rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced what filters BSplayer actually uses for showing DV-AVI) ![]()
