Not too much info to go from!
Perhaps you should update your codec?
Please read my Help2Help post (a.k.a. "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING") (especially the items 1 to 4 and item 9).

If you have an on-board video adapter try to check rgb AND overlay mode 1. SOmetimes worked this way.

if you have an onboard video card and if you want to take advantage of YUV/YV overlays, set the video memory to at least 8MB and leave only overlay 1 selected (unselect RGB options)

make sure you have the latest video drivers available

I don't guarantee that it will work, it depends on the video card, video drivers, available video memory

Some video adapters (on-board), don't work only with the both options selected. I've seen it mostly on VIA(S3) based cards. No matter how much memory you alocate from BIOS to the video adapter.
