"Add Folder" only adding first 17 folders

I click on "Add Folder" and select my 'Done' folder which contains all of my MP3s that have ID3 tags on them (which I want in the library). The library scans and only finds about the first 17 folders/artists, which it adds to the library just fine. However, there are 416 Artists with album sub-folders. Is there any particular reason that it's only scanning the first 17?

Also, is there a way to remove the 'default' genres? There are 148 total with an empty library, I'd like to have that at 0.

When BS.Player finds a bad/corrupted media file while scaning, it will simply skip it and continue with scan.

Why the scan ends in your case, is hard to tell. We would need to have the file which causes BS.Player scan to end to tell more. This happens rarely, and usually only with mp3 files with embedded pictures.

Try to remove this file from folder and rescan.

About second question: the genres list is compatible with ID3 format and it can not be shortened.
