Default Need some help please with half complete downloded movies.

I'm sure this is an easy one. But I'm to stupid to find the way/option.

I'l try to open/play a xvid.avi that is not completed yet. The file is there but only the first few rar files are unpacked with video data. The rest is still empty and awaiting for downloading. Try to open this will get me a 'Warning unknown file format or corrupted file'. The only option I found is "Open locked media files". But this makes no difference. Does anyone have a solution to this.

Needless to mention that vlc detects this correctly and just gives a warning that seeking may not work. But plays it fine from the beginning.

I have bsplayer 1.37 with k-lite codec pack and it plays corrupted/not completed avi files.

Default BS.player playback of incomplete media files

It very much depends on the type of incomplete file itself. For example, no media player (including BS.Player) will be able to properly display half finished torrents, while avi's and other may be playable.
