I have bought a new 21' monitor whenever I change the refresh rate > 60 or resolution > 800*600, I CAN NOT CHANGE SATURATION OR BRIGHTNESS.

At resolution 800*600 and refresh rate = 60 , it works...

There should be a feature in bsplayer ,using which one can increase width or height of video (like in media player classic). This way one can utilise most of the screen without distorting video much.
