repairing the quartz.dll solved all my problems.
Just went to start/run and typed:
%windir%\system32\regsvr32 %windir%\system32\quartz.dll

BSPlayer workes fine again and Windows media...

Until recently BSPlayer worked fine - sound & subtitles OK
After installing and uninstalling TMPGEnc I don't have any sound any more.
Thesame problem with Windows Media Player - who doesn't...
