brightness not working

hello,
I can't adjust brightness using the keys (home) and (end) anymore.
It works if I right click on the video and goto options -> filters -> divx,
but that doesn't work well with a remote....

bsplay version 501 brightness is not working,
it fast fowards and rewinds instead.
I tried remapping the keys but still the same problem
when I switch back to version 500 and brightness
works...

.asx files no longer play when I click on them, bsplayer starts
but does not play the file when using 493 and 494.
build 492 works fine, also when I right click on the .asx file and select play...

I use media-box as a launcher for my movies,
and in order for a movie to play it has an .asx file that lauches
my .avi's. Now when I click on the movie bsplay launches
but the movie does not open....
