(click on button "Font" below "Subtitle sample")

Note font resizing can be done automatically or lines can be split automatically. (Last two options under ..... > Subtitles > [Subtitle properties]).
Shortcuts for font-resizing?
Some skins have
buttons just to do that.
(Like the
one skin I once made myself as an experiment).
Concerning key-shortcuts I'm afraid at present there can only be keys for
"Next subtitle font" and/or "Previous subtitle font", but these are not defined as "default". You will have to do that yourself under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Key definitions & WinLIRC.
