Did you try this?

This possibility will probably not offer a solution as your problem is not a BS.Player's issue, but one concerning your videocard and its settings! I also don't think that moving up moviescreen helps? Code:
Summary of the default shortcut keys on numeric keyboard in full screen mode:
+/- Pan-Scan in/out movie (keeping it centered)
4,6,8,2 Move picture left, right, up, down
5 Reset
(actually these are only some of the shortcutkeys available)
Perhaps another option (which could work for you) would be to use another skin or adapt your skin so that the controlpanel doesn't only appear at the bottom ot the screen when you place your mousepointer there, but also at the top of the screen when your mousepointer is placed there: Control bar at the top in full screen? (<< click here)
What skin do you actually use for BS.Players controlpanel?
Finally you always have the option (and the most simple 'solution') to 'unhide' BS.Players primary control-window by depressing [H]-key. Did you try that already? (Actually [H]-key is a toggle key or on/off-switch.)
Let us know.
