We've always and consistently advised
against installing codec-
packs.
(Having installed one also surely doesn't help trouble shooting.)
When you installed BS.Player, did you also allow it to "internally" install its preferred codecs/filters? (Internally meaning
not interfering with your system's codecs/filters, but only for use by BS.Player itself.)
(If you didn't, you can still do so by activating "codecmanager.exe", which you can find inside the folder in which BS.Player was installed.)
What's your OS? Maybe update BS.Player. Meanwhile we're on version 2.63.1071.
Maybe report which codecs/filters BS.Player actually uses to display this video file. To find out, load the file and then ..
...rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced
Also click on "Source" and on the [+]-signs in front of the filters/codecs shown to get further info (and access).
