Default [SOLVED]"Failed to allocate subtitle surface" error messag

After upgrading to the latest version of bsplayer, I got this error message: "Failed to allocate subtitle surface, Subtitles will not be available".

Also since then, no words are shown on movie screen like "Play, Stop, Volume UP, OSD messages, time stamp...etc.

I tried to uninstall this version and return back to the older one and also remove all the settings in the Documents & settings or those one in the bsplayer in program files directory but in vain.

I am using VMR7 rendrening mode, when I switch back to the default mode "Internal render overlay" the message doesn't show up but the movie doesn't show the subtitle with it while playing.
I hve also vobsub installed so the same subtitles can be shown when i play the movie using MS Media Player.

Any chances?

What is rendering mode used?
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > [Video rendering]
What if you try a different one?

It is Windows Server 2008, of course. What is it this question? Do you think I wouldn't know my own O.S.?

It was the last one from the list, the one for Vista. I switched it to Direct Draw and now it work like a charm. Thank!

I have asked because Media Center and Server does not use the same DirectX (Direct Show is a part of directX ;) ) and to properly display the subtitles, BSPlayer acces DirectDraw (part of DirectShow)
