My B.S. Player Lite "Locked"...

when I simply picked it up (or it happened when I put my (HTC Inspire) android down and I couldn't find a fix for it so far, and restarting the phone did not correct the fact that it's still locked. Any ideas or suggestions that can "un"lock the player. I have no idea why it suddenly locked on me, so...
