No HW mode on Mediatek MT8125 PowerVR SGX 544MP

Hello,

I noticed my qv830 gigaset tablet always plays everything in SW mode. (ie mp4 with x264 and avi's with xvid 263 or mkv's.)

I tried updating bsplayer and of course playing from local sdcard.

I also tried building a custom coded (downloaded All-in-one package for Linux x86) for arm v7 neon and selected it in bsplayer. But that did not help either.

Is HW playback at all possible with the bsplayer engine with the Mediatek MT8125 and PowerVR SGX 544MP gpu?

Would compiling the custom codec be of influence of hardware decoding? or is that just for extra codecs?
