The old bug is there,i mean that after you see a movie if you have the monitor set to turn off oh well it will not turn off after you see a movie, this ia a old bug in bsplayer what about a fix or fix as it's really frustrating ,i`m using Windows XP SP3, Nvidia video card & BS Player Pro 2.51.1022.

Thanks...

Just a wild idea: any difference if you select "Close file" (or "Close BS.Player") under "When finished" of Preferences > General [General settings]?

In fact i`m using this option but the monitor is not turning off...after the movie ends.

Also tried with the "Close BS.Player"-option selected (and taking into consideration the time-delay as set under the energy-options)?

Even if i use this option it will not work, this is a very old bug that really needs to be fixed you know..can't it be fixed?

After having searched for previous forum posts it appears to me that this problem isn't perhaps so easy to fix as it maybe seems (also given the apparent different ways that Systems/OSses seem to handle this).
E.g. in a fairly recent post ("monitor standby") also the opposite is stated from what you've been reporting since quite some time already.
Anyhow I include some links to previous threads and can only keep my fingers crossed that BS.Player-team will be able to tackle and solve this matter, which must be quite annoying for BS.Player-users which actively use this energy saving possibility.
