Default why can't i take screencaptures from CD ROM drive?

i can take screen captures from a video playing on my harddrive, but i can't do it from a video being played from the d drive. what's more, my computer kind of crashes. when i do it. and i have to eject the cd in order to stop the play, get things back to normal.

anyone know how to fix it?

ANOTHER BUG:

everynow and then when i use BSPLAYER my computer crashes in the worst way. everything stops abruptly and my speakers emit a high pitched noise. i can't reboot via ctrl-alnate-delete, and i can't even shut down the computer by pressing the button. i have to unplug it. i only have this problem using Bsplayer.

anyone know how to fix this?

Did you define a directory where BSPlayer should store the captured images?
("General"-tab of "Options"/"Preferences")

I'm afraid I've no idea. I cannot possibly reproduce it. I have no problems whatsoever, irrespective if my movies are played from any of my hard disks, from my CD read/write station, from the DVD image drive or from my DVD player. :?
You're using the latest build 500 I presume?

This thanks - of course - goes to BST, who is the creator of BSPlayer!
