Default no subtitles with Xvid

When I'm playing an Xvid movie, the subtitles won't show. Not on my monitor, nor on the TV.

I don't have any problems with other movies. It's just Xvid.

Does anybody know how to correct this? Or is it some sort of bug?

Greetz,
J.
