problem with sound when playing .vob files

as the subject said. No sound. I've tried all the settings and got the latest Nimo Codec Pack but still nothing. I get the sound when the file is played in PowerDVD but not in BSPlayer.
btw the sound volume indicator on is showing to be at the max so the proggy doesn't think that it's a file with no sound.'
What seems to be the problem?
