Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I didn't know where else to put it. Here's my dilemma: I can't play any of my DivX encoded videos. I get sound, but the picture is very distorted. I tried to take a screen, but the video area wasn't recorded, so I'll do my best to describe it. Take about 10 ramdom horizontal lines, blacken out the rest of the image, then rotate it about 35 degrees. That's what I'm getting. I've installed the lastest (5.11) DivX codecs, as well as the newest MPlayer codecs. Any help?

Did you already try different settings of mode/overlay/VMR?? (rightclick > Options > Preferences > Video). ![]()

Will having an old system w/o DX9 casue this problem? I tried messing with those options. When I use no overlay mode I get an error message stating: "Display hadware is not capable of color-space conversions. I get a green, sort of pixelated image. Overlay mode 2 crashes BSPlayer, and I can't use VRM9, as I dont have DX9 installed. |
