It worked!!

Wow, Smarties. I have to agree with Gazza! I had about the exact same problem. "Overlay failed!" "Can't create DirectDraw surface" and the same error messages as Gazza when I tried to force RGB mode. But I hadn't closed the player after making those changes. ^^ Now it seems to work. Thanks. Easy does it, I guess. :P :D
