BSPlayer song length?

Hello

I am new to BSplayer, I just downloaded the programm and use the default settings. And I have to report a bug.

When I open a .mp3 song in BSplayer, it shows a wrong length of the time. For example, I open a song which goes normally 3-4 minutes, it shows 8-9 minutes for the song. Thats strange, what is wrong?

I found out new informations about this problem.

when I open mp3 files, which I ripped from my own original cd's, I saw that the BSplayer displays the song lenght correctly.

but on some downloaded mp3 files BSplayer does display a wrong song length.

so it looks for me like the mp3 is kind of damaged.

but otherwise, winamp does display the same (damaged) mp3 display correctly.

so long, has somebody the same issue?

Maybe I'm wrong, but are those "corrupted" files compressed with VBR metod?
If so, then it's a BSplayer bug (as for many other media players).
