Playback rate crash

Hi, I surfed around the forum and It seems no-one has had this problem.
If I switch playback rate to 1/2 I got bluescreen about IRQ_LESS_OR_EQUAL and something about ndis.sys error. I updated my Radeon 9600 drivers and now It just restarts my machine when setting playback rate to 1/2. Faster playback rates (2x) work OK but 1/2 seems to crash my machine.
All suggestions are welcome.
