Exit error when maping ESC key

If you assign key ESC to exit, BSPlayer exits when you press ESC regardless if you are focused BSPlayer or any other window.
For example when you have BSPlayer on background and press ESC while in Total commander, BSPlayer exits. I tried another keys, but it seems working only with ESC.

I've noticed a different beaviour:
If I assign ESC key to Exit action, and then I press ESC... nothing happens. BSplayer stays open!
To make the ESC key work, I have to check the "Global key" option, thus BSplayer exits also if not focused :?
