yeah, already reported several times. Wait for the fix. And in the meanwhile, go to windowed screen then to full screen again, this artifact should go away. Also I noticed that when a subtitle pops up, those bars go away as well

Yes, take a look at the sticky post "BUGS IN BSPLAYER v2.00.937", there grendizer quoted the reported bug (and you can find other reports by searching the forum  )To remove those artifacts you can simply press the 5 button in your NumPad
