Default bug while playing DivX encoded files

hello i got an fatal bug while playing files which are encoded with DivX/Xvid.
but some of them i can play without any error.
i installed the newest divx codes (6.5) and Xvid (1.2) and it also does work on all the other players, like vlc and wmp, but all i can see on the bsplayer are stripes.
the sound is well an all of the players.

Help us to help you by posting here the codec used to encode the video (use GSpot to know it) and the filters used by BSplayer to render it (while a video is open -> right-click on bsplayer -> Options -> Filters -> Advanced)

well thanks allot :D
haven't thought that it might be usefull to install the div3. hadn't make sense to install an'older version of the decoder.
but this solved the prob.

greetings from cologne and thanks again.

edit:
and by the way now it displayes that i'm using the ffdshow video decoder, also install this prog and after the div3 install bsplayer seems to use it after it has used the hdx4 codec won't use this one anymore.

Ffdshow will decode all MPEG-4 video formats. If you do not compress your own videos, then you may remove the other codecs (varous DivX variants, XviD and hacked DivX 3 ;-)). If ffdshow stops working after this procedure, just reinstall it or re-enable the formats in ffdshow Preferences dialog.
