Problem with playback I have a problem when I try to play movies coded in x264 (MPEG-4) in the BSFreePlayer 231.974 ver. When I try to open a video file BSplayer opens a black screen and doesnt play, I see in the bar with the clock and all that Haali filter and FFDaudio filter are working but not the FFDvideo. So I tried to reinstall the FFD filter but it didnt work and give the same thing. The player works fine with movies that are not coded in x264 and another player I have can play the x264 movies. Can you help me? |

You need to enable H264 support in FFDshow (I recall this function is disabled by default - I may be wrong, as I don't use ffdshow) or use another H264 decoder, such as CoreAVC. Probably BSPlayer try to use Nero or InterVideo H264 decoder and fails.

Well, the FFD works when I try to play movies coded in H264 in another player like Media Player Classic, so I dont think that is the problem but ill try to look in the settings of FFD. Someone has another idea what could be wrong? Edit: By the way in the 230 BSFreePlayer ver everything worked, this problem only happend with the 231.974 ver. Do anyone know where can I download the 230 ver of BSFreePlayer? |
