 rotation I myself encode moves with virtualdub and rotate them by 90 degrees. When played back on the XDA ( with pocketMVP ) I simply turn the phone on it's side to watch the movie (320x160 pixels) in wide screen. The problem is - what happens if I decide to watch the movie on my laptop instead ? I've got a rotated move so I can either turn my head on it's side or rotate the screen. very dull. What I would really like is a windows player with a rotate option. There is nothing out there at the moment ! Thinking about it would it be as straight forward as plotting pixels as Y,X instead of X,Y ?  |

But the Nokia Multimedia Player can do that!!! even your phone isn't nokia's, you can install it too!

Most of nowadays videocards do have the option to rotate the image.

but afaik 3 years ago there weren't that feature in the nokia multimedia player
