Audio pitch when speed increased/decreased I think adding an option to use a filter to shift the pitch of the audio to prevent the chipmunkiness would be great.. |

There is a Winamp2 DSP plugin that does this job http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?p=11966#11966

Further development of the speed/pitch feature? Quote:
Do you still develop the Win project? I am particularly interested in two things: 1/ Win version: Please could you implement the speed and pitch one? It is a trend nowadays. More and more people watching a lot of educational materials on higher speeds. However I have found for me that the pitch is quite disturbing and I hardly can concentrate on the important content. I've tried with that plugin.... but it is not that good. Sometimes I have issues. THe plugin troubles my other configurational software, etc. In CCCP Media Player things are also not as smoothly as in your android version. Can't you implement it as a single feature embedded within the app? Currently there is no particular solution that would address this issue properly. And I can assure you that I know a place or two where I can advertise it ;-) 2/ For Android: What are the chances to increase the speed with additional steps above 2? ;-)))) |

Windows player is under construction. 1. Pitch/speed will be implemented by default. 2. Android: press button Speed +, sound pitch will be autocorrected.

What I get on my full/paid version is Playback Rate: (max) 200%. My question was related to speeds beyond that. Eg. 300% 400%? |
| ||||
You can set custom max speed (up to 500%) in Preferences.

Where exactly can you do this? I can't find such an option anywhere. The only "custom" option I found is volume boost.

I ve been using the add-on you made, but I got some problems; 1. I plugged it in and had to restart the pc for it to start functioning 2. You should give instructions because few would figure out where to paste the .dll file. After it worked for me I guess i did it correctly 3. As soon as I started BS player the sound got destorted as if the headphones where congested( I cannot explain it very well. As if there is sth between the speaker and my ears) even at 100% pitch, 100% tempo. At 1st I thought my external disk got burned, but it did it to every single file BS player could excecute. Other players, e.g the windows one, where fine. Help plz Can you plz help me? |
