Default Free BSPlayer Pro

I think that many people will enjoy a time-limited free version of BSPlayer Pro. Such a version will allow them to test Pro capabilities (and the corect functionality on their machines - like capture support for example) and it they are satisfied probably they will buy it. It's a chance I think to increase the number of Pro buyers.

Can I be more clear than that ?

@J7N: Just a typo!
If we're going to react on every single typing or language error in this forum, it will very soon reach 50.000 articles! (Even if the number is still under 25.000 at present.) It's the content that counts!

Just seen that my "if" it's in fact an "it". :) Now I understand what wasn't clear enough.

I also didn't notice this typo. ;) I was trying to say that except lack of the annoying "free for non-commercial use" reminder there is nothing useful the Pro can offer.

Wow, a rather strange way of saying so! Further this is - of course - a matter of opinion and personal preference. Last time when you made a similar statement, you at least mentioned that it was your "humble opinion". Meanwhile your opinion is not so humble anymore?
I personally am in favour of adicoto's suggestion.

I won't repeat this statement anymore, promise BSPeter. ;)

Since BSPlayer is no longer free due to WhenU, why not make 2 versions with equal set of functions: freely distributable one with hardcoded malware and another one which costs money but is perfectly clean?

By saying perfectly clean I also mean no exe protectors. The same old keygen available on the Internet is functional despite of the protection applied.

1. I don't like the subtitle editor in BSPlayer Pro, I find it useless, as I am a subtitles translator/creator and the editor lacks most of the functions I need. But some may find it usefull.
2. I like the TV-tuner support, because it's more versatile than original dedicated software. Maybe some users don't like this and use native software.
3. I don't like the capture options, as it's hard to handle, poor results and can't compress to MPEG2 for example. I've seen capture files made with my tuner with another software. Excelent quality. But many users probably are quite satisfied with it's capabilities.
4. Don't know about teletext, my tuner doesn't have this capability.

So, do I like or not BSPlayer Pro ? Is it usefull or not ? Can it satisfy it's users ? I let them answer this questions.

AFAIK if you disable OSD, "free for non comercial use" won't show on your display.

As for the two versions ? Maybe ver 2 will bring back the fully free version like the one before 138. I do have some doubts about, but let's hope.

It might be more versatile than native software (TelSignal for example), but not dedicated (like Borg, JTV). It is a known fact that original, native software is crap and I don't suggest anybody to use it.

So there is no point loading the entire BSPlayer just for watching TV - if you don't capture.

Yes, why should I use BSPlayer to wach TV. It uses so much as 7,4 MB of my ram. My native aplication uses in the same conditions just 81 MB.
Same as my capture program, when capturing in MPEG2 format.
