Default help needed with custom aspect ratio

I have a movie that was encoded in the wrong aspect ratio (1,78:1) and I wish to correct it with a custom aspect ratio of 1,33:1. However in bsplayer I cannot set it to this as I cannot input a , or a . in the custom aspect ratio and I can't set it to 1:33:1 either. This is the first time i've had to deal with aspect ratios so if someone could explain how to set it to 1,33:1 I would be very grateful.

1,33:1 means 4:3.

Thanks adicoto :D

Is there a website that lists what aspect ratios like 1,33:1 mean? Just in case I encounter something like this again.

Default what does 1.33/1 mean

It is simply the horizontal dimension divided by the vertical and 4/3=1.33/1 or more simply just 1.33 was the main tv standard of which all tv's were made esp the cathode ray type and most all tv station broadcasts till around 2003 or so when some started changing to 16/9 which is now the official standard for digital tv though some are still mixed - like some of the older reruns etc. are 4/3 but the present trend is for more and more to go to the16/9 and an increasing percentage of the tv's sold today will be 16/9 rather than 4/3.

@zmth:
Why o why are you responding to an over 6-year-old-post?
Where were you around at that time?
