Can't download codec list

After I upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7 BSplayer worked fine. But I wanted to do a complete reinstall from Windows 10 and now I have a problem with the installation of BSplayer. During the installation it needs to download codecs but I get the following error message: "Codec list could not be downloaded. Please check your internet connection." Of course my internet connection works and I still get the same message after rebooting the computer.

Could it be a compatibility issue with the new browser "Edge" from Microsoft? I don't know how it tries to download the list, but I wonder if someone else has run into this issue...

The thing is that i'm not behind a proxy server...

I have the same issue here. I reinstalled it several times, checked IE LAN settings (no proxy configuration present). I still get the message "Codec list could not be downloaded. Please check your internet connection", but i have no issues with the internet connection as every other application is accessing the internet without any problems.

Is that also on a clean install of Windows 10? Just tried this on another laptop running Windows 8.1 Pro and here it works fine.

As a workaround, until BSPlayer's team fiind the problem with codecmanager, try to download and install codecs from this post:

I think thats is a problema with Windows 10 i cant todo download the code liste, when will be available a new versión of bsplayer like modern app in the Windows store

Sometimes i also got the same issue with window 10 but after sometime its work i also can't understand where is the problem

hope i posted on the right topic... i cant download the folowing codecs on windows 10 x64... did this happened to you? any solutions?
