Default I have subtitels but no sound!

I installed BSplayer, but when i start the movie BS says "file is corrupted, seeking will be very slow. What can i doe about it?

You fail to tell what type of movie it is. (Perhaps you're missing a codec.) For .avi's, you can check codec used using e.g. GSpot (See second item of my Help-to-Help post as linked at the bottom hereof).
Does the movie play in WMP?
Perhaps have a look at these posts

Did you perhaps recently uninstall e.g. another player?
