Position of subtitles in 16:9 and 4:3 films I have a 4:3 TV. When I watch 16:9 films and I do not "stretch" the image, I have two black bars on the screen, one below the movie and one above. This is completely logical. I wonder, however, if it would be possible with BSplayer to show the subtitles in the lower black bar, instead of inside the film. Is this possible or not? Tia, Robert |

Yes this is possible. In fact that's the default position in full screen if you selected "Auto position" under rightclick > Subtitles > Subtitle properties. Also depends on your graphics card (and settings under Video rendering) Perhaps necessary for you to check "Draw subtitles to Overlay surface"? (under rightclick > Options > Preferences > Subtitles)

Try Single Display Mode (not Dualview, Clone Mode or whatsoever) for your TV and PC-monitor. In that mode you can place subtitles in lower black space. For other information: http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=5301 |
