2. Getting serious now. Your computer is a bit slow for nowadays compresion methods (like one half of what is needed). So, in options->preferences->video->video renderer, try to select one of the overlays 1 or 2, not RGB. This depends on your videocard (you should mention what videocard do you have). This should help a little by putting more presure on the videocard and relief the main CPU. Try to uninstall all codecs and leave either ffdshow (works better on slow machines but with poor quality) or install XviD 1.0.1 and let it to decode all supported formats. I have seen it making miracles on slow machines, I don't know why or how.
Last chance, downgrade to BSPlayer 0.86 build 501 which is the best on slow machines.
