Probably something messed up your audio MPEG decoder. Try to install an alternate one, such as Moonlight Odio Dekoda (works with most os the audio formats from MPEG to AC3)

With moviefile loaded, what is shown under rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced? P.S.: Already tried if re-registering quartz.dll makes any difference? http://bsplayer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=15157#15157

I was afraid you'd ask that, the answer is too darned embarrassing. The player's volume was all the way down. I had had the former version of BSPlayer turned all the way up and used my multimedia keyboard for controlling volume, so I managed to completely overlook the player's volume control. Yikes :!: |
