I have a strange situation where Graphedit is using the right DirectShow filters, and BsPlayer is using the wrong ones, so the Graphedit internal player can read the RMVB file, but BsPlayer cannot. Graphedit uses : Real Media Source --> Real Media Splitter > Real Media Audio and Video decoders (all of those from Real Alternative). BsPlayer uses : some default source filters (quartz.dll) --> Some MPEG4 decoders, and I don't remember which other strange and inadequate filters (I cannot screenshot because I'm at work now). Shouldn't BsPlayer behave the same as Graphedit??? :x

Have you tried to manage with the Filter manager window in BSplayer prefernces? For every type of filter you add to the priority list you can associate specific media types and sub-types
