Default Help! BSplayer doesn't playback AVI files

I don't playback avi files with BSplayer Pro 2.21 Build 950, and I also try previous version too, but the problem is similar. I reinstall all xVID, DivX codec, I can playback the mpg and wmv file. With another player I can playback avi file too. In the BSplayer preferences/Video sub-menu/DivX-3.11-DivX4+-FFDShow properties items aren't adjustable. The items colour is grey! I think this will be the problem. How can I solve the problem. Help, please!

Tanks
Tibor

Have you checked and installed necessary codecs?

Check codec list.

As i.a. mentioned in my Help2Help-post you can determine if you have the proper codecs/filters installed on your PC for a particular movie using (e.g.) GSpot.
Disregard the three "greyed out" submenus of Video-preferences (DivX3, 4 & ffdshow).
With a movie loaded you can check which decoders/filters are loaded by BS.Player (and you can also adjust their settings there) under:
(rightclick >) Options > Filters > Advanced (then click on the [+]-ses).

When posting always mention your computer's OS and the version and build number(!) of BS.Player as used by you,
as well as - if applicable and especially when encountering problems - the type(s) of the file(s) mentioned in your post.
