Strange that I do not have this problem, my player does display the next file's title after viewing finish a file. I've tried this on different skins and it works too.

Try right-clicking the player, going to options,...

Try right-clicking the player, going to options, preferences, then to the video tab and uncheck the 'Use overlay' box. That should work.
