Unable to use subtitles

anyone else unable to use subtitles ? everytime i load them the video starts blinking and characters of subs seems to get stuck in the screen, there is any error pop up just malfunctioning. Once i disable subs pressing S the video plays normal
Anyone knows how to fix that ?
