How can I correct subtitle time? |

I assume you're using BS.Player Pro. Maybe read these threads: text editor BSPlayer Subtitle Plugin... - Page 2 - Official BS.Player forums

If I recall correctly, 1.37 does not have the integrated subtitle editor. So you will need another software to do this. I use and reccomend subtitle translator. If interested, I wil explain how to do it.

Most of the subtitle tools have the same functions, of changing framerate and adding (or substracting) a delay. Basically, today we talk about 2 major subtitle format: microDVD = SUB files and subrip = SRT files SUB files are based on frames, SRT are based on time. Now, You must load the file into the program. If the delay between the words and the subtile it's the same the whole movie, it's enough to add or substract a delay. If the delay gets bigger (or smaller) then there is a framerate difference. Most of today files are 23,976 or 25 fps. What you have to do is to change the framerate from one to another. Now, in subtitles translator, the tool I am using: If the file is SRT then go to -> file -> import subtile and point to the subtitle. You will be asked to select the framerate for the movie you want. If you have the movie, the simplest way it's to load the movie and press the button : acquire from movie. Once the file is loaded, go to EDIT and select "renumber subtitles". You will find there the 2 options above described. After the subtitle is sinchronised, save it. |

subtitle delay
Hello, adicoto, I have been following your instructions about subtitle translator for subtitle delay, it corrects delay but corrected subtitles do not play on bsplayer. they don't appear at all. maybe it is because I am using Free Bsplayer? Would they show on Pro Bsplayer? Also, I have said yes to the message "do you want to use fffshow". Maybe it has something to do with that. Or because I don't know how to save properly? Can you explain how to do that? Thank you in advance
