BSplayer remote for Android phones

Hello everybody,

We have just written a BSplayer remote control application for Android, called BSRemote. You can open files, control volume and playback. All out of your armchair It's out of beta and ready for prime time.

Here is the full description:

BSRemote is a BSplayer remote control application for Android smartphones. It allows you to

• control the volume (mute)
• control playback status (play, pause, stop)
• seek movie position
• browse and select a movie file for playback
• manage a playlist
• load subtitles
  

Additionaly, it features

• full screen toggle
• timed host computer shutdown
• recent played videos list
• start BSplayer on first command
• BSplayer exit command

NOTE

If you encounter any issues, please be patient and signal them in the feedback form at the bottom of the webpage or directly from the Android app. Time permitting, we will read them all and try to solve the problems.

Hello everybody,

We've just released version 1.2.0 of the app. It refines some of the existing features as well as adding some new ones.

Here are the recent changes:
- added sort by date/name
- added ascending/descending sort
- more elegant way for switching panels
- added support for audio files
- added new options in settings panel
- added update check for server and app
- fixed few bugs

Cand am creat threadul, nu exista sectiunea. Cred ca ai dreptate, ar fi mult mai vizibil acolo. Il poti muta, te rog?

When I created the thread, that section did not exist. I think you're right, it would be much more visible there. Can you move it, please?

If by "BSP on my Android tablet" you mean the Android version of BSPlayer, then no. This is only for the Windows version of the player. Sorry

An Android app to remotely control BSP on my Android tablet and/or BSP on my Android phone would be awesome!
Of course, it also should remotely control BSP-for-Android's and ES-File-Explorer's LAN features.

Why?
Then a HDMI plugged-in Android tablet/phone could stay firmly connected to the big screen ad remotely operated like a smart "BSP-Chromecast-like" dongle and play all the media files (in computers) in the LAN in superb BSP-for-Android's HW encoding quality!

Please make an Adroid 2 Android BSplayer remote control app!
