| Sofar none of our translations for this message is used. What's more, seemingly at present (tested v. 251.1022) only the 2nd sentence is still shown. Without the first sentence the word "it" is rather odd. ![]() Edit BSPeter 08 March 2010: translations are used from v. 2.5.2.1025beta.

The meaning would be really strange without th 1st sentence :), but we can't reproduce this.

Perhaps it is somehow connected to the bug I earlier reported about the OSD-messages: http://forum.bsplayer.com/bug-report...html#post40534 Did you try with 'Enable OSD' deselected? ![]() (Maybe also see the last line of my "P.S." in this post.)

I repeat to Ico-man:In fact this bug is sufficiently confirmed in this post and by my previous picture and those below! Enable OSD deselected/unchecked: ![]() Enable OSD selected/checked:

Start-up message of Free version now (i.e. in v. 2.5.2.1025beta) shown complete (2 lines) and translated (if translation made). ![]() However ..... always on a solid black background (so also selection of "Transparent" for OSD messages doesn't work for it any more). IMHO: this is very very ugly! ![]() (P.S.: Poor quality of images caused by the rendering mode which I had to use to be able to get these screencaps with moviepicture and OSD.)

I confirm BSPeter's statement, that in version 2.52 Build 1026B the text "This version of BS.Player is for non-commercial and personal use only. You may not use it for any type of commercial activities." is not transparent at firs play at player startup. And it also stays on-screen far too long ~10 seconds! This indeed is very ugly and annoying. |

| You don't/can't. (See the previous posts in this thread to which I meanwhile moved your post).

| For Free-version's start-up message also transparent again possible (instead of only solid black background) from version 2.52.1027β

BSPeter, I have just installed version 2.52 Build 1027B and I still have the same problem with free-version's startup message. ![]() It still stays up for ~10 seconds. That's just too long. But I can confirm that it can be transparent again. |

In the initial post I reported: "Sofar none of our translations for this message is used." Translations (if made) are used now. Did you notice the title of this thread: "[FIXED] Display of free version start-up message" ?? Start-up message is now shown completely (2 lines).
