No video only audio |

Displays gray, pixelated with flashes of video. Quote:
-Win10, BS Player Pro, Latest update/build. -Displays gray, pixelated with flashes of video. -Each video tested in multiple other players with no problem - Just in BS Player. -Audio plays without problem. -Only happens with some videos - others play fine. Tried multiple different preference setting to no effect. I can always use other players, but I'm very attached to BS player and I hate to lose it. Thanks for any help - Teach |

Uninstall codecs. Uninstall BSPlayer and it's installed codecs. Install BSPlayer latest build and let codecmanager install LAV Filters.

Did you install BSPlayer with LAV Filters ? Video card drivers are up to date ? By any chance, did you install may update for win 10 with an old nVidia card ? |

Hello, I've been having the same issue for weeks. The solution that worked for me was pretty simple (silly really) but I don't know if it will help anyone else. So, basically, I had audio in all videos but no video at all (the video frame wouldn't pop up at all). All I did (after re-installing the player and the codecs a million times) was: 1) Click "video" on the main blue bar (the only thing that was visible when opening bs player) 2) Hit "full screen" (first column, second row) And voila! The video magically appeared! I'm not sure what I did to make the video frame disappear in the first place but, in any case, that's what worked for me. I hope this helps. Take care! |
