Unfortunately you do not give any info on your system's hardware.
As to software: do you happen to know which (relevant) codecs are installed?
Have a look at this thread for some general info.
How is setting in BSPlayer of the option "Disable YV12format" under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > Video rendering ?

When posting always mention your computer's OS and the version and build number(!) of BS.Player as used by you,
as well as - if applicable and especially when encountering problems - the type(s) of the file(s) mentioned in your post.

I meant .... Processor? Graphics card ?
Check if you have DivX5.1.1
([Start] > Programs > DivX > DivX Codec > Decoder Configuration Utility > Help page)
If you do not appear to have it, download and install it. See this post:

@BSPeter:
Couldn't you make a sticky on this topic? These questions return over and over again, resulting in more redundant answers. I appreciate your efforts to answer all these questions but the forum thereby looses its structure and viewability.
I suggest a <go through step-by-step>

1) Check codecs(versions) installed -> don't use codec packs (exept matroska lite pack :lol: )

2) Check file with VDub, Graphedit/Gspot, vlc (->not DS dependant!) for corrupt data.

3) Info to provide: op.system, player, file downloaded or self-made.....

---and so on...
