MPEG-2 & SVCD

well actually i dont get this ... i am trying to watch the spiderman 2 svcd but it doesnt work on any player not bsplayer either it displays "cant open file" .... i know you guys will tell me to get elecard or ligos mpeg2 codes ... well i did try them all and no success

whats actually the problem? i dont get ... please help me in details
i tried all the codecs i found but no luck ...
