When is AC3 filter visible ?

When is AC3 filter visible ? Only during the playback of DivX with AC3 sound or even during playback of ordinary DivX with mp3 sound, or even regardless of playback mode ?

In my case (AC3 Filter 0.70 and Final BSplayer 1.0) I don't see AC3, in spite of I checked AC3 instead of system default for AC3 decoding in preferences ?

Download AC3 filter 1.01a RC5.

AC3Filter is loaded only when needed. Only on video files that have AC3 sound. Not on those with MP3 sound.

In version http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/dow..._1_01a_rc5.exe you can use AC3filter for: PCM, AC3, DTS, MPEG Audio (mp3...) PES (DVD).

I use AC3filter ver 0.70b and I've no experience with any later "release candidates" or test-versions. (Also I've no urge or need, so I'm afraid I cannot help you with respect to this version AC3filter RC5.)
