BSPlayer freezes whole computer

BSPlayer (the newest version) is sometimes suddenly freezing my whole computer. Sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after 2 hours, sometimes after 1 minute.... there's no exact period. Where is the problem?

My specs:
Windows XP, SP2
P4 3.0 GHz, 1024 MB RAM, Radeon 9600 PRO 256 MB

Did you already use the option to Search this forum, e.g. with "freeze" as keyword?
Not any of the resulting posts resembles your situation?

P.S.:
Tip: After a seach, open the items under "Topics" using rightclick and then "Open in new window" (and simply close that post after you've read it) otherwise search results are lost.

Sure, I've tried to look for some answers, but nothing helped :-/

Occurs with any type of video played? Codecs installed?
Updated Video/Motherboard drivers?
Overlay-settings of video card respectively BSPlayer?
Similar problem with other player(s)? (Virus?)
