You did not - by any chance - install a codec-pack? Check out item 4 of my Help2Help-post (which also has a link to adicoto's list of codecs at the end of it, which may be of particular interest to you). By the way: build 814 is BSPlayer's most recent version right now!

edit* i'm pretty sure it's not bsplayers fault (downloaded the newest one), instead the ogm file is corrupted. But for some reason it plays in Media Player Classic. Is there anyway to salvage the file (something like divfix)? Or should I try redownloading it?
