Default Error when opening file

When I open a video in the folder with my videos on my desktop it gives this error.

ActiveMovie Window: explorrer.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x036d415b" refrenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

The "0x036d415b" is a differant number sometimes but the same errors every time. I am about to Defrag my HD anythign else i can do to fix it since it started when i started using this.

BSPlayer does not normally play in ActiveMovie Window.
(Is another application using videocard?)
Some additional information from you certainly wouldn't hurt.
I suggest you first read my Help2Help-post and then come back with some additional information.

Type of video?

(You didn't install any codec-pack(s) by any chance?)

Try to uninstall codec pack, and install afterwards independent codecs. What kind of file de we talk about ? AVI or MPEG ? What overlay setting do you use ?
