Default BSPlayer Crashes opening XVID

When I try to open an XVID video with bsplayer it gives me this crash/error message:
Code:
AppName: bsplayer.exe AppVer: 1.3.7.826 ModName: divxdec.ax
ModVer: 6.0.0.1697 Offset: 0003c56f
This happens to several of my XVID movies while some other XVIDs work just fine/

It is BSPlayer 1.37 b826

Possibly a conflict? Please read item (4) (the part "Also install XviD-codec?") of my Help2Help-post.

well it seems like the player calls the wrong codec...
Is there any setup that can be done inside BSPlayer to point the right codec for this exact file?
and actually I'm still able to play this video with Movie Player Classic.

edit: oh yeah, I already have XVID installed it's XviD-1.1.0-Beta2-04042005 _Beta Release_

In DivX decoder settings you must disable "Support for generic MPEG4". And install some new release of XviD. When installing, don't enable FourCC support for DivX and so....
