This is an MPEG format video file. This format is not currently supported by GSpot. Codecpack from www.codecpack.com isn't good enough??? And why other applications can open the file? |

Codec packs in general are not good (since you read the Help2Help topic you should have also read the "stay away from codec-packs" sentence at beginning of section (4)).. I don't suggest you to install a codec pack, but if you want to use a codec pack, then maybe try K-Lite one, and use the "Playback only" settings. (Then in "DirectShow: Source Filters" choose Gabest for MP4 and Matroska splitter, OggDS for Ogg splitters, and Elecard MPEG Demuxer.. never had any problem with those settings) But i still suggest you to install only the codecs you really need

I've downloaded http://alfa.icis.pcz.pl/~subedit/pol...decpack_pl.exe and works fine. STRANGE :? without that installation BSplayer doesn't open the file but other applications (Windows Media Player, VLC Media Player, Media Player Classic) could open the file ;)
